I have two upset felines rubbing my ankles and making my life unpleasant. I never fed these monsters wet food. When a female moved into my life a few years ago and totally upset it, SHE decided they needed expensive canned food twice a day. SHE is lying sick in bed.IF I feed these beggars, I will never have a moments peace. Tough love!
Um… @Lewreader: My ladyfriend’s vet told her once that cats should have wet food maybe twice a WEEK… This after one of them began to look more like Garfield than Garfield…

Lewreader and RadioTom, I had a roomate in CA. long time ago. She told me to feed a cat the cat dry food in the dish daily but put a half of wet cat food can for supper every evening. Never feed kitten or cat a milk in a bowl; otherwise, kitten or cat will have bad diarrhea. Just give them a water that will be good enough. I did follow what she told me so. I had wonderful cat for 13 years. He looked so heavy fat like a 26 pounds of turkey. I missed him dearly. :-/
