Jon: Where's the mousetrap I set out?
Garfield: The mice have it.
Jon: I'm beginning to think mice are smarter these days.
Garfield: They've turned it over, added legs, and made a nice coffee table out of it.
I had two cats who never caught a mouse until after I caught 6 WITH MY HANDS and showed them it can be done and threatened to get rid of them. Yeah, I know they probabbly didn’t really understand what I was saying, but they did finally start catching mice.
Looks like G’s not on daycare duty any more, just pretending to be doing mouse-watch. The mice parents’ association must have decided not in his favor after yesterday.
It seems the mice have discovered a way to transfer idle brainwaves from another organism into useable ones for themselves, along with a perfect subject for transference. Jon. Who once had a thought. And then let it go. He has the world’s most idle brain.

Well, they do have a nice supply of cheese underneath the table.

This wouldn’t happen with a glue trap.
