who swims in a pool that small anyway?

What to do, what to do?

Woah woah woah it’s not an hour? I’ve been missing 30 min of my life lately

Can Garfield swim?.

Aye sure JOHNSALLYSULLIVAN and who even listens to old wives,new ones either?

I remember going to family reunions where there was a huge in-ground pool. When the food was ready (barbecue, of course) the pool would be “closed” for an hour. All of us little ones were just about dying to get back into the water, but the adults were vigilant. Yeah, NOW I know that it’s a myth, but back then we listened to our parents.

Yup, a myth. You actually float better full because your displacement increases. Mom always told us that because she wanted a break from watching us.

That’s a straight up myth

You know you don’t have to wait Jon. First you ate, then you changed your clothes for 10 something minutes, likely used the toilet for another 10 minutes, then walked down to the pool for another 10 minutes. 30 minutes done.

Back in the day…..we would spend that 1/2 hour climbing the huge sand dunes behind the beach.

I’m not sure about Garfield, but Odie should only have to wait about 4 minutes and 17 seconds.

I once threw up in the bath right after I ate chocolate.

We had to wait an hour to swim because we “would get cramps and drown!” We would sit in the shallow water and slowly inch our way out. ;-)

How the hell will you drown in a kiddie pool?

That’s a wading pool.

Cats don’t like water! I know some don’t mind it, but Garfield hates bathes, so…..
