I used to think getting tattooed was pretty bizarre and useless … then I started seeing people with pierced ears, eyebrows, noses, lips, belly buttons and other places I won’t even mention. Getting a tattoo used to be something that drunken sailors got, when they got ‘shore leave’ and needed something to eliminate ‘3 months at sea’ boredom.
