DYK – The puppet Cookie Monster never ate a real cookie? The oils in a real cookie would have dirty/stained the fabric of the puppet. So instead… they used Rice Cakes. To give the illusion of chips or raisins… they colored the cake.

I wonder… how dirty is Pooky’s tush? (Grin!)
