Dear God…. Or whoever is in charge of this. Put this comic strip out of its misery! This last six months has been the WORST run in this strip’s history. And yes, I mean since 1920! The pace has slowed from glacial to dead in the water and the story line… heck, WHAT story line? It’s dead. Kill it now and save us all!
I am glad to see others besides me of “senior” vintage are reading GA.
Also, I am a blues harp player and have enjoyed Earl and Gertie’s exchanges. Earl is a credit to us all!
Yea verily, stringmusicianer, and I will keep right on scrolling past them. I think the story line is being proloooonged because he is having so much fun drawing. And I am having fun looking at the results.
Congrats to the long and happily married!
Ok so you say every day! Over and over and over! We get the point, you’re bored with this story arc and want it to be over with. We get the point. Do you have to belabor it every single day?
My husband and I didn’t know each other too long either before we got married and we’ll be married 24 years tomorrow.

Just click on to the next comic for goodness sake and stop with the bellyaching!
As for Gertie, well it works for Garfield. He hates Mondays too.

They would be assuming Rocko is bad just because he is a biker and their daughter is too dumb to see it.

Channce and Jazzlily– good for you for having the courage to start your marriages so quickly. It sounds like you both made excellent decisions.

My wife and I started dating in July, engaged in August and married in November. Twenty-five years ago. Proof that military marriages do work.

IMO this arc has gone on far too long.
