I’m with Jumbobrain. Why wasn’t Mr. Walt shown the door as well? What happened to him? Gertie is responsible for him.

Maybe Terry had an extra comp ticket for Walt with the Corky’s Diner folks. Not that Gertie thought about that. Or that Corky thought, “Gee, I’ve got some free tickets. Maybe my father would like to go to a jazz concert with me.” Not Corky.

While Mr. Walt’s ticket was also counterfeit, he did not make a scene and start threatening the usher. They would have treated him better because he treated them better. I love the detail in the art of these strips, but I do sometimes wish they would move a little faster.

I think Walt is still in the men’s room.
