Yea; perfectly depicts our “booming”(?) Saskatchewanian society right now. The rich are getting richer while the middle-class heads towards extinction!!!! These business geniuses(?) and their cohorts in gov’t never did figure this out: Ruin the middle class and there goes your tax base; no wonder so many cities and states are so deep in the red. The poor can not pay any taxes because the have NO money anyway and the rich WON’T pay taxes; of course with the help of tax lawyers and accountants and ’loopholes"….

But as we insist the rich pay more taxes, the rich in turn pass their taxes on to the rest of us in the way of goods and services. Therefor it is the ‘rest of us’ who actually end up paying their taxes. Make sense?

The same way they pass on any cost of doing business. Put up prices to cover the loss.

Recognize the avatar, but the name doesn’t ring a bell. ;o)

I seem to remember that Joel & Rufus live in the junkyard so it is logical that they walk around there. However, I don’t think they own it so they wouldn’t be allowed to sell anything from it.
