Wolves are kind of dangerous for suburbanites. Hunters kill the healthiest deer they can find. I suggested to VA wildlife to have deer hunts with dog packs. Dogs love to run, and these would be trained to chase the deer until one drops, like wolves do (the weakest deer). Then the dogs get to eat the deer! (Dogs, but not cats, seems to be immune to “mad cow”, which infects some deer.)
