Wow. For the third time that I can remember, the good detective is seen with his mouth open. And it all happened within this very story arc! I do not doubt that there are those out there with boatloads of data to the effect of, “No! No! He also did it once in June 1951 and again in March 1954!!” (And as a record collector, I get that. BRB, I have to apologize profusely to my constituents…..). Anyway, a nice diversion from the other ongoing clue poised to develop into a major story arc down the line, which is that Well I’ll Be looks way older than she is, and that she has a serious mean streak in her. Ah, Artistic License Part Two…..
@Dirty Dragon I guess this answers your question yesterday of how Dick knew about the kids exposing the counterfeiters — he reads the Gasoline Alley strip like these kids read his Dick Tracy strip.
