Baleen, you would ‘nurse’ *a cup of coffee. If you’re drinking “beaucoup” cups of it, you’re gulping down mug after mug.
Is our kids learning??

I had a very nice 4-hour nap/sleep in my easy chair after a long day on the road, skipped dinner entirely as I was tuckered out. But it was early enough where I woke up in time to put together a three-cornered classics update for the 23rd:
Hipshot has a reputation to maintain, so he can’t really afford to get labeled as a cat aficionado. Nevertheless he is free to be privately owned by one who found him. Just don’t get like Rufus and Kitty, a cat hanging on your arm might affect your quick draw.
It’s about time for the great vote to decide if it will be the Big Stare and bare legs, or the New Look and more employment for weavers. Always looking ahead, striprunner Dale Messick introduced a soon-to-be ex-con to the story, and he’s got a prior beef with Chug-Chug Kelly. Will this be the spark that leads to there being a point for Chekhov’s Anteater??
Clovia turns 24 in May, and she’s got a biological clock that’s ticking like YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE! She dreams of Slim while Ruthie tries to re-focus her friend on reality.

Does Slim run up a tab at Corky’s that his long-suffering wife has to pay—just like Andy Capp at the Rose & Crown??

Balleen might be a ‘whale’ but Slim’s got all the blubber(ing).

Drink too much coffee, Slim, and you’ll won’t go to sleep for days even if you are attempting to divorce Clovia in the next few days or weeks.
