Bucky: I'm taking pre-reservations for my fish restaurant, how many people will you be when it is? Rob: Bucky, even if I wasn't a vegan. I wouldn't eat at your restaurant on a dare. Bucky: See... Thing is already put you down for forty dinners, so if you just give me the four-thousand-dollar deposit, we'll be square. Rob: Sorry. Not my kind of restaurant. You can't please all the people all the time. Bucky: No, but I can smack all the people upside the head all the time. Rob: I don't think that's a viable business plan. Bucky: Technically, I believe it's a bidness plan.
Actually popeye, “How many will you be” is a very common term when taking reservations for a restaurant.
