If you go back to the Pearls strips in the archive (2006 about this date or so) you will see that they aren’t colorized, so I guess Ted Turner has been monkeying with history again.

Read about this weeks strips in one of Stephan Pastis’s treasuries. The fact Bucky & Satchel are blatantly pasted over Goat and Rat makes it even funnier than the original.

How odd. A mother gets banished for feeding her child naturally, but anyone may impose the inane details of their life on everyone else in the room. That was the right thing, Bucky.

I wanted to do that more than once, Bucky!

For once, I agree with Rat,,,uh, Bucky.

The mis-matched sizes are to emphasize the supposed rush-job Darby did of it and is supposed to simulate cutting with an Exacto blade. Also, it’s Darby’s (or whoever handles that’s) coloring. A dead give away that it was, in fact, done with a photo editing app.

Hmmm…Satch is pasted over Goat, and Bucky is pasted over Rat. I just noticed this, and it’s been going on all week!

I think I met Bucky once at a party.

This arc has been fun. Keep it up, Darby and Stephan.
