It’s fine, Satchel. My mom didn’t know what “obscure” meant when we were talking a month ago, either. (She thought it was synonymous with “obscene”.) We’ve all got some common word we don’t know the meaning of.
I felt like Satch leaving a public lecture at U of M on Dark Matter. It was given by an astrophysicist who was revealing the newest understandings of this mysterious, seemingly invisible force. (Pre James Webb Telescope)
Satchel is feeling guilty about being depressed. A dog can be made to feel guilty about something he has not done. A cat (and Bucky is the supreme example) can never be made to feel guilty. Angry, afraid, insulted – maybe. Guilty – never.

Rob just needs to leave the apt. for 15 minutes; Satch will be orgasmically happy when Robbo returns—typical pooch behavior.
