When I first read this strip a few months back (When getting all the books on digital) I really loved the knifelight. That love hasn’t changed. Sometimes you deliver with wordplay, sometimes a deranged cat ducktapes a knife to a flashlight and dosen’t understand why it’s a horrible idea.

“Bifocal Scissors”? Sure, let’s run with that.

Nobody in their household wears glasses, much less bifocals. So since they obviously weren’t theirs, I guess it was ok to cut them in 2. Just trying to envision them staying on, in case I ever need a pair to cut my tongue out, or spite my nose off my face the easy way

I guess the lamp/mug would help if you read tea leaves

Bucky could put all the stuff in a catalog and call it “Sharper Image”. No, wait, that’s taken.

Give a pair to crazy joe. Help him see all those imaginary people he stops to shake hands with.

I think most inventions are combinations of existing objects.
