I had that problem with our xmas toy drive: go and find a truck with no batteries required. Now, of course, I see any number (Homegoods has a remarkable selection on clearance) but they’re a little pricey: either “green” or metal (which I prefer, but not my wife: she just doesn’t understand!).
Yeah. What was wrong with the old Tonka trucks with no bells and whistles" that had kids using their own imaginations as played with them? Those old trucks are worth a lot of money these days.
