One of a cat’s most annoying tricks. Better to either get a cat door or keep the kitty at home with a little box and never let her out.
Had outside cats so not a problem.
My vet had a cat door and the rabid racoon wound up biting him one day. Doesn’t sound like a great idea. They should make one with a device that you could put on your pet that would open when it recognizes the device.
We have a catio but still have to open the door for them..
