Brody, whuddaya say, whuddaya say! Can’t tell if he’s punting or place-kicking. Looks like some sort of tee in panel 3. Maybe he’s trying to revive the old-school method. Can you even buy a square-toed shoe any more? He’ll be known as Brody “The Toe” Abro.

Maybe Velma should offer her kid a scooby snack to get in the darn car.

Well, a THUD would go wide right, but a WHUD is through the uprights!

Totally scuffed the top of the ball. Looks more like he’s “settling” or “trapping the ball” (as we who played the other kind of football do) than kicking it.

Brody could be working on his onside kick, it does take some skill and touch. kdizzle: If you are making a Scooby Doo reference, isn’t her name Thelma?

Wonder why mom’s in such a big hurry? Could it be that she wants to get home so she can start drinking?

Get the old Tom Dempsey kicking shoe. The only trouble there would be you have to cut half of your foot off. For those who don’t know him he was a NFL kicker that was born with a half a foot and a stub on one arm. He did kick a 63 yard Field Goal to beat the Detroit Lions 19-17 in 1970.

@dutchpuppy, Brody could use that shoe.I take it Gil wants to hire Deke and Kaz doesn’t. Kaz must feel pretty secure. I wouldn’t try to tell my boss who he should hire.
