Great – a big case. This means Knox’s baseball season is over! Well, it was fun while it lasted!

Finally – back to the slip and fall that started it all.

Something in my gut tells me Attorney Knox plays the part of DB dad effortlessly. Remember Carl Peake?

I have known many teenagers who practiced law in their off hours.

In order to bring these divergent storylines together, my guess is the guy who fell was actually little Jaxon who has grown to adulthood in a little less than a year (didn’t that happen in a Robin Williams movie?). Knox will win a big settlement, Darby will fall in love, the Mudlarks will make the playdowns and all will be well in Milford.

GilfanThis will be more difficult than you think, as the defense will argue that Jaxon’s enormous head affected his balance and caused the fall, not the slick pavement.

Guess you don’t need college to practice law.

Wait – why is Darby making that fish face motion in P1?

That’s gonna be a heck of smudge on dad’s glasses in P2.

I wish panel 2 had said “Later, at Foley Manor.”

Glad I’m not hooked up with a law firm that lets a high-school kid work on depositions.

My guess is that we finally get to meet Jaxon’s father. Either he’s the slipper or he found out through the newspaper stories that he’s a father and no one told him.
