Actually, I’ve got a Rottweiler who will eat paper. And it doesn’t matter what kind: napkins, newspaper, cellphone manuals, paper towels, notebook paper, steno pad paper, tissues, etc. If she could sneak away with it she would. I made sure the kids’ homework was put where she couldn’t reach it.
When I was a kid our dog once did in fact eat my homework. That’s all I remember about it, but that’s enough to make me willing to believe the claim. Just don’t let it become a habit.
