How Mother Meggs? Because you have a dog, who like my dear departed Charlie Girl, would eat anything, even HOT PEPPERS. “Good dog! You helped Ginger get rid of the evidnece!

    Howdy Joe and Jason!

I thought Ginj only disliked broccoli quiche. Hope he’s a Vegemite liker… and of kangaroo. I recall from Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods, they mention in an Australian episode that roo is edible.

In the upper midwest, people say, “red beets.” presumably to distinguish them from sugar beets. My grandparents stewed beet tops. Called them red spinach or red greens.

Never had squirrel meat Joe. I hear there isn’t much meat on them. Probably the same for rabbits, but I have had rabbit meat. My dad and his one friend used to hunt them, when I was a kid. I’ve had fried rabbit and rabbit stew. Don’t think I could eat them now, just because I love to watch the rabbits run around my yard, and have found some baby nests!
