My Mom had a toolbox, which she kept locked so Dad wouldn’t borrow her tools. He had his own, but hers were easier to find. I don’t think she would have minded if he borrowed them, as long he brought them back, but he didn’t on a timely basis. Both my hubby & I have a fair amount of tools, but whenever he borrows mine, I have to go chase them back down and put them where they belong.
