    Well said, Beviek! Besides, those albums will be useless when grandma dies, and the kids seem like the type who can let go of the past.Record albums are pretty pointless unless the person led some sort of epic life.

    Oops. Got it confused with photo albums. Sorry. But anyway, why have records when there are CDs and MP3s. Records have better sound quality if the record is new, the needle is new, and the record player is good. However, because the records, needle, and record player that grandma has are probably old by now, she’ll get better sound quality from CDs and MP3s.

    @Creature950……..Anyone that doesn’t know, it can’t be explained to them. You either understand the beauty of it or you never will. I’m sure that you have no collections that are dear to you. Nope, when the next thing comes around, toss the last things out in the trash!!!
