Poor Rudy. As a pet owner, I hate neighborhood fireworks!

but at least Rudy is inside. Instead of outside with all that noise and running to find a place to hide. … Mom would always bring our dog inside during thunderstorms. (mom grew up on a farm – dogs were for outside).

Surprise for me. Yesterday came and went without a single boom. I had an old terrier years ago. She climbed a 6’ foot fence and ran around the neighborhood. The next year we gave her a tranquilizer and she was still scared and slept for almost 2 days.

Except for a couple here and there, they finally finished in my neighborhood. I think the skunk was pretty grateful too. Haven’t smelled anything from it since Friday.
