Very true. In the mid 70s, I was an engineer on a pipeline project. While walking through the woods with a survey crew, I was bitten on my calf by a large rattlesnake. Fortunately, the snake must have recently emptied it’s venom sacs because I received very little. Doctor said that i was VERY lucky. Still have the scars, though.
