    This is precisely why I quit wearing watches thirty five years ago. Haven’t worn a watch since!!!! When you need to know what time it is there’s always a clock somewhere nearby, and of course now every cell phone and electronic device has them.

    I have a drawer full of watches and all of them need batteries. I don’t remember the last time I wore one of them.

    I once read (can’t remember where) that you rarely look at your watch to see the exact time. Rather, it’s how long until something happens (do I have enough time to do this before that happens).
