So you can’t be accused of “taking it all”, as well as being obligated to replace it. Duh!

What kind of a meal is that? My ex used to put back infinitesimal amounts of food in containers, plus dishes with leftovers – complete with spoon or fork. Or put the entire pan in the fridge – without a lid. Even better, put something back and when I asked about it, was told that it was no longer any good. The logic there? Never did figure it out.

Nearly empties for the spouse? That’s a no-fly zone.

My husband may he RIP.
