We still have some here in Arkansas. One fairly close to me has a concession stand that serves hamburgers etc as well as popcorn and candy. And the price of the candy and pop is as cheap as a convenience store instead of movie theater prices.
Yup, I remember going to the drive in…. I don’t recall any of the movies, but then that wasn’t the point of going in the first place, just the alibi. 8^)
