I’ve quit watching most series because there was far too much time between seasons. By the time the new season rolled around, I’d forgotten most of what had happened, lost interest in it and moved on to something else. The few that end in the Spring and pick up again in the Fall or on a similar schedule, I still watch. A year between seasons is way, way too much time.

One series I watch ended in August and the new season starts this week, tv has gotten too unpredictable.

if the comic is that old, and the gag is ’ a long time in the future’ then at least go in and CHANGE the year to one in the future

Meanwhile, you can watch reruns of “Fawltey Towers”.
