Smell is a form of taste.

Don’t forget tasty elementary school paste….

And the smell of mimeograph paper.

That too. Or the taste of the flour paste. One of the pleasures of Papier-mâché. (Not me of course.)

Homemade play dough just tastes like pure salt . . .

I never tasted it but by the smell, I would expect it to taste like canned vanilla icing…
