I don’t understand the problem with GMO. Humans have been genetically modifying plants and animals for at least 15,000 years. Look at the differences between a Great Dane and Chihuahua. Or a Clydesdale and a Shetland pony. Modern corn (or maize for you purists) looks nothing like what the South Americans grew thousands of years ago.
