I’m for staying on Daylight Savings time! I hate when it gets dark early.

I like the extra hour of sleep you can get in the AM after the change but getting dark earlier is a bit below average and it is even worse when we have to give that hour back in the spring!

It’s nice to commute in the daylight, we should ditch DST and stay on standard time year-round.

Unfortunately, our cats didn’t get the memo. They were trying to get us up an hour early. And, they succeeded.

DST exists to remind us how many time devices we own that we have forgotten how to set. Last night I spent the hour I “saved” resetting all that I could figure out.

It’s one way to leaf an impression.

If I only had a cup of coffee

Sized to take a dive

I would jump in and broth me

As never in my life

If I only had a cup of coffee

Enormous as a lake

No more sleepiness get of me

And keep me from stayin’ awake

If I only had a cup of coffee

With measures ike a pool…

But someone somewhere now shouts roughly

“Don’t jump off the edge, you fool!”

First panel makes sense but I’m thinking that falling into a giant cup of coffee would make more sense when we “spring forward” and lose an hour of sleep!

Try telling the doggos, cats and chooks. Especially the chooks. Fortunately Mr Cogburn was in the coop and did not crow at sunrise, but the girls were all pissed off because I arrived late and forgot to bring the feed when I came to collect the eggs. 14 of them. 8 brown, 4 white and 2 blue. We have a pair of Cream Legbars. Fortunately, of the docile type.

We fall OFF DST. I’m for staying ON it year round.
