I’ve been to Vegas a few times. If you want to be inspired to not gamble, walk around in a casino in the morning. Old people on oxygen, folks gambling away the mortgage payment, it’s very depressing. I never gambled at all, except for the occasional lottery ticket.
I went to a casino in Ocean City, NJ, put a dollar coin in a slot machine and pushed a button. Lights blinked and sounds beeped. After five seconds it ended and told me I lost. So I went and found an arcade where I could push buttons and have lights and beeps for a whole five minutes before I lost.
