I remember reading the book that a movie was based on, a movie I had never heard of. The teacher stopped me in the middle of my report, told me that she didn’t appreciate me trying to lie and that I would receive an F (this was before the whole “don’t single out a kid in front of their peer’s” movement). I argued and she sent me to the principle’s office, where they called my mom after I argued with the principle. Still remember the look on the principle and teachers faces when my mom handed them the book and told them that I had never seen the movie.
