Heart: School opening two hours late is even worse than a full day of school.... Heart: I mean, I'm already up and ready! Now I'm just sitting around waiting for the inevitable! Two hours late is a cheap tease of the day off that might've been! Dean: Like grabbing a handful of chocolates and finding they're all filled with coconut. Heart: And covered with disappointment.
The school has to get it X hours (varies by state law) of class time or it’s not considered a “day” for them to get state aid for (so many $s per “day” per student).
