Normally when they do that they are most unhappy and may tell you by hissing or scratching you or even growling.
My dog is the same way when I try her on a new treat.
My dogs don’t care as long as they get something.

When they get hungry, they will eat, My Dad used the same theory on me as a kid. It worked!
