Presidential vacation August 9-23. Stay at $7M Mansion. Attend $30K ticket fundraiser. Golf/dine at exclusive farm neck country club. Return Aug. 24: Attack republicans for favoring the rich.
It would be nice if people focused on what is important. How about revising the tax code to get rid of all the loop holes and inversion? Some kind of reasonable immigration law would help. Fix the thousands of bridges that need it. I guess it is just a lot harder to draw a cartoon about a dysfunctional Congress.

denis: where do you keep coming up with the idiotic accusation I don’t pay taxes? I pay property tax, income tax (state and federal), taxes on wine, tobacco, utilities (phone and electric), gasoline ($0.47 a gallon in my state), but do not pay the most repressive of all taxes in my state, the sales, or “fair” tax (which certainly is NOT for middle or low income folks).
If there was a B.S. tax, a high one, it might really nail all the radical right-wingers in Congress, and their constituents, like corporate contributors, and their less than informed supporters in the “populace”.
‘ol Henry is indeed a one trick pony. Obama does see himself as the Rock Star in Chief, but that is not an issue. We created that monster. The only difference between him and Bush is that Bush waited until leaving to ’replenish the old coffers’ and Obama has consistently acted as Chief Fund Raiser partly to offset the Koch brothers and partly because he likes it.
One thing that would help if the public would stop purchasing books written by presidents: Those running, those in office and for the first 2 years after leaving office. We make them rich and then complain about it.
We’re idiots babe, it’s a wonder we still know how to breathe.

Can’t wait to see how the Libs figure out how to make this ok for Obama to do and no one else…on the Republican side of the aisle, that is.

^ And is Mr. Payne capable of drawing a cartoon that does not mention golf?

Obama now lives on George Orwell’s Animal Farm: Everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others.
