Gawd, you can’t be thinking that way every day! It will drive you mad. Yes, it’s true, but if you are constantly that aware, you’ll never get anything done.
Maybe I’m sensitive, but I don’t like the similarities in the past few days of this comic strip. I think the writers should show a little more compassion for families that have lost loved ones because of stupidity. Nothing is cute or funny about this scenario. Yes, it may be true but the context of this thing is all wrong in my opinion.
I don’t think she’d be thinking that every day … this is obviously in direct response to the Treyvon situation … after such an event all moms will be more sensitive to things that could make their child a target and you are intensely more sensitive to the “what ifs.”

As some of us find out long after we have gotten much older that situation works both ways.

Yup, looks like the neoConfederates have broken the social contract we all lived in and depended on…

It’s never a wrong to tell someone you love “I love you”,no matter the age of the person,or the situation.

I don’t think it’s appropriate. Uncomfortable is not a factor for me.

Good for you, Mr. Bentley! Make them squirm! Maybe they’ll think while they’re at it.
