I’ve had some challenging mice over the years. One in particular took about a month to catch. I finally used an old bird feeder tube that was about 18" long. I put it on a slant against some bags on the floor with peanut butter in the bottom of the tube. The next morning I came out and there he was jumping up and sliding down the side of the tube. I took him and the tube about a mile away and turned him loose in the woods.
