We just had a local “criminal” defense attorney get sentenced to jail. He had defended a child molester who happened to be a millionaire, too. When his client died later, the will said he had left all 5 million to the attorney. The man who helped forge the will confessed and implicated the attorney, but he pled not guilty and waited for a trial.Meanwhile, he ran for district attorney. Fortunately, he lost by a landslide.
