When we first got our new kitten she always tried to bury her food under anything there was nearby. Shirts, towels, wash rags. She was surrendered from an overcrowded home so we imagine she had to protect her food.
My grandma always sent us a box of goodies from Alberta for Christmas, including gifts and home baking. One year, I think she mistook the pepper for the nutmeg or whatever. Even the dog wouldn’t eat them, tried to bury them in the back yard.

Unfortunately there isn’t enough sand or cat litter for that.

Good try by the cat. He could scratch all day and still not cover up the RV.

You’re going to need a really big shovel! An excavator would come in handy.

ps I love drawing cat whiskers disconnected from their face. There’s something gravity-defying about it that’s deeply satisfying.

That cat can see the true value of that RV. A real elephant carcass! They have to help him bury it.

Eliot knows what he’s doing, for sure.
