When in doubt, always dig it deeper

It seems that Squirrel is obsessed with digging and not with food.

Squirrels aren’t digging randomly looking for nuts. They remember where they buried them. They need those nuts to survive, and the squirrels that remember better survive longer and have more kits.

There might have been nuts in that gap once, but something else got to them first.
