I stopped for breakfast in a crowded truck stop one time and had to sit in the trucker’s section. Two truckers in the booth behind me were harassing the waitress (they were called waitresses, not servers, back in those days) and one of the truckers said “I’ll have a sexy waitress to go and you’ll do”. The waitress replied “I think I’d get the short end of the stick in that deal and I’ll bet you’ve got the shortest stick in this truck stop”.
