Sedine’s face in the 2nd panel is just too cute!

Well, at least Sedine is proud of him. ❤️

He is more adult and in touch with reality, than his parents are. Really wonder where they get their money from to even wear clothes like that, since they do not seem poor.

Let’s move on to the moment where “parent” comes in contact with “anti-parent,” watch them annihilate each other… and leave Sam and Sedine alone for a peaceful Thanksgiving dinner.

Time to just walk away,Sam.

My opinion of Sam went up several notches just now.

I though Sedine was gonna be the freak character, but the parents or both are beyond that, I don’t know if there exist a word to describe them.

I was at a Thanksgiving dinner like this. I am Thankful that McDonald’s was open that day.

Sam did get one thing from his parents, His affinity for VW Beatles.

After mom’s comment at the end, are you sure they are artists? Mom sounds like someone living off entitlements and not knowing what work is? Interesting stat I saw (Forbes) about California – 14 million people working, 13 million on welfare or some sort of government subsidy. If you count government employees, there are 114 living off the government for every 100 actually working. I wonder what side of that Sam’s parents really are?

Oy. The exaggerations in today’s strip are not effective.

One big shove and shut the door, then round up the other parents and do the same.

Okay, the parent aspect has gone beyond overkill now. It’s just getting extremely annoying.
