But in frame three, Sam is so surprised, it is the back of his head that provides the quarter circle, and the top of his head is nearly parallel to his arm, showing that Sam is now shaken up and dropping down.

Love panel one, Sedine sitting can’t touch the floor. My wife is short like that and it drives her nuts.

With Sam at this stage, I’m reminded of The Big Bang Theory episode where Amy (wearing a Starfleet uniform) “examines” Sheldon with a tricorder (their version of “playing doctor”). Sheldon, lying on the couch, tells Leonard, “I’m in hell,” but tells Amy, “Don’t stop.”

Ouch, that took Sam WAAAAY to long to figure out.

If Sam works nights, does that mean Sedine lets him sleep during the day?

I’m not too crazy about (most) people myself but at least I don’t work nights just to avoid them. Not yet anyway.
