I can figure out the real mascots for everyone but the clown and the alien. What real world cereals do those two even represent. I mean the bear is obviously Sugar Bear (Golden Crisp; actually had a stuffed Sugar Bear I got from a box of Golden Crisp back in the mid ‘80s), the puma is Tony the Tiger (Frosted Flakes, naturally), the pirate is Captain Horatio Magellan Crunch (aka Cap’n Crunch of Cap’n Crunch cereal), the rather Notre Dame like fighting leprechaun is Lucky the Leprechaun (Frosted Lucky Charms), and the flamingo is Sonny (Coco Puffs). Course they all have different names from their real world counterparts and mascot different cereals from them too. I mean the puma introduced himself days ago as Pete Puma.

Hmm. What cereal has a clown mascot? (Other than that, I see off-brand versions of Quisp, Sugar Bear, Tony the Tiger, Cap’n Crunch, Lucky the Leprechaun, and Sonny the Cuckoo Bird…)

I’ll say the clown is from Kaboom.

Kaboom, good call! I thought the clown was from that creepy 1950’s ‘Rice Krinkles’ ad that’s all over the internets. I wouldn’t mess with him…

Ok, had to look up Quisp and Kaboom both. Get why I don’t recognize the alien, was too young when it was discontinued and never saw it’s ‘80s, ’90s, or ’00s comebacks. And have seen it in grocery stores since it’s ‘12 comeback. Kaboom makes no sense to me, it was supposedly big in the ’70s and ’80s, I don’t remember ever seeing it anywhere in the ’80s.
