Well, judging by what Alan Reed said about how he came up with the phrase, Yabba-Dabba-Doo means “A little dab’ll do ya!” Since dab can mean a small amount, a sudden blow or thrust, a gentle touch or stroke, to strike or touch lightly, or to apply lightly or irregularly, the exact meaning of Yabba-Dabba-Doo could be even broader as it could easily mean “Hey, good job, you deserve a gentle pat on the back” or “Why you! One punch and you’ll be out for the count!”
