up and at 'em!! atom--! captain: ant!! captain: someone's gotta get a can or raid in here... ralston: kinda surprised he didn't put up more of a fight...
First a Disney insect character, now a Hanna-Barbera insect character. Did Looney Tunes have any notable insect characters? I do remember DePatie–Freleng Enterprises had a Japanese Beetle in the Blue Racer cartoons, a fire breathing Dragon Fly in the Crazylegs Crane cartoons, and of course Ant in the Ant and Aardvark cartoons. But those cartoons are a bit less known today and those particular characters even less known, than the Pink Panther and the Inspector cartoons DePatie–Freleng Enterprises did.

The Ant and the Aardvark! Ant was a Dean Martin imitation, and Aardvark sounded (to me) like Jackie Mason. Good times on a Saturday morning.

I loved Atom Ant. Great stuff.
Anyone remember Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse?
