Cat: It's so hard to find a good mouse these days. Cat: Tell me about it. It's a zoo out there. Cat: What happened to your last one? Cat: Left me for another cat. Cat: No!! Why? Cat: Who knows? It's always so ridiculous! They all just seem to want someone who's easy to manipulate. They get you in a compromising position, and then wham! The hammer falls, or anvil, or whatever. Cat: Or they turn out to be a kangarro or something. Cat: Yeah, there are a lot of phonies, and the game playing! Y'know, like "hard-to-get" and... well, it's mainly just "hard-to-get"... Cat: That doesn't make it hurt any less.
I suddenly appreciate that Tom and Jerry were able to keep a stable relationship going for decades. But not Sylvester and Tweety. That cat just couldn’t stop seeing Speedy Gonzalez on the sly.
