Growing up near the Everglades, I used to catch little gators all the time as a kid. It’s not the belly rubbing, but the holding them on their back, with maybe the head a little lower so the blood rushes to it. They knock right out like a rag doll in a few seconds, and recover just fine when turned back. Tons of fun and impresses the snowbirds.
